About The Project: Setting up a science laboratory in a school enhances hands-on learning, improves academic performance, and fosters curiosity and critical thinking. It helps bridge the educational gap between urban and rural areas, promotes STEM career interest, and equips students with valuable technical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, it boosts teacher retention, improves school infrastructure, and positively impacts the local community through increased scientific literacy and innovation.

Foundation for Integrated Support & Solution in a way receiving financial assistance from ONGC-Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, set up a Science Laboratory in Anand Academy, Dispur, Guwahati in a way giving in better exposure and enhancing the developed facilities for the education of the children and thus supporting a social cause.

Objective:

• To provide hands-on learning experiences.
• To promote critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
• To enhance understanding of scientific concepts.
• To support curriculum-based practical activities.
• To prepare students for higher education and careers.
• To boost student confidence through experimentation.

Impact: Setting up a science lab in a school enhanced the practical learning, improved student performance, and sparked interest in science. It developed critical thinking and technical skills while preparing students for future STEM careers and contributing to overall school improvement.

About The Project: With Financial assistance provided by ONGC-Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited and utilization of Funds by Foundation for Integrated Support and Solution, a women led lake side Cafeteria was constructed near the Library of Borboruah Pukhuri under Nazira Subdivision of Sivasagar District, in Assam.

The construction of women-led cafeterias will empower women by providing opportunities for economic independence, leadership, and skill development. It will also promote gender equality, creates jobs, and positively impacts the community by offering healthier food options and serving as role models for future female entrepreneurs.

Objective:

• To empower women through leadership and entrepreneurship in the food industry.
• To create job opportunities and promote economic independence for women.
• To challenge gender norms by fostering women-led businesses.

Impact: The effect of construction of a women-led cafeteria were clearly visible as it provided a shelter and safe space for women through leadership and entrepreneurial opportunities, created jobs, and promoted gender equality. The women were also included in providing local economic growth, healthy food options, and were taken up as a role model by other women to pursue business ventures, fostering a positive social impact within the community. Construction of such infrastructures contributes towards enhancement of gender biases visibly present in the society.

About The Project: With Financial assistance provided by ONGC-Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited and utilization of Funds by Foundation for Integrated Support and Solution, the renovation and beautification of Children Park was done near the Borboruah Pukhuri in Nazira Subdivision of Sivasagar District, in Assam.

This renovation and beautification of a children's park aims to create a safe, inclusive, and visually appealing space that supports children's physical and mental development, encourages community interaction, and promotes healthier, more active lifestyles.

Objective:

• To promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles among children.
• To provide inclusive play spaces for children of all abilities.
• To encourage family and community bonding in a vibrant outdoor space.
• To support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play.
• To foster environmental awareness through green and sustainable park features.

Impact: The renovation & Beautification in a way enhanced the park area with more green & equipped facilities for children to enjoy their time. Such improvements lead to increased park usage, promote physical activity, and foster social interactions among families. Additionally the community pride & engagement along with the children and positive impact on local property values could be witnessed.

About the Project: With the financial assistance provided by ONGC, Foundation for Integrated Support and Solution provided 139 Desk & Benches in Dholebagan Higher Secondary school, Choraideo District of Assam.

Objective:

Impact: Providing desks and benches in the school created a more organized, comfortable, and inclusive learning environment.
